Scope of application

This data protection declaration is to inform you regarding the type, extent and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by passcon GmbH (Neuer Wall 63, 20354 Hamburg, Germany) during your visit to our website pursuant to the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act.

We do all we can to respect your right to privacy and the protection of your personal information.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. The information we use and where we get it from

Personal data

Comments and contributions

You can leave a contribution or comment on our website and your IP address will be saved. This serves the security of the website operator: any of your text violates the laws or regulations, we may process the information for your identity to comply with the laws.

You can also subscribe to our website, follow-up comments or your contributions, and will receive an e-mail to confirm your e-mail address. We will not collect or use any other data for this purpose, nor share this information with third parties.

Registration for seminars

By completing and submitting the registration forms for seminars, you agree that we use the data you have entered for the further processing of your registration. This data is stored locally on our German server and transmitted encrypted, of course.

Newsletter - Mail Chimp

The newsletters will be sent by MailChimp, a mail-order service provider of Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The privacy policy of the shipping service provider can be viewed here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. The Rocket Science Group LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which provides a guarantee to comply with European data protection standards (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active) . The shipping service provider is based on our legitimate interests acc. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and a contract processing agreement acc. Art. 28 (3) sentence 1 DSGVO.

In addition to your e-mail address, we also record your first and last name, because we would like to call you by your name.

The shipping service provider may use the data of the recipients in pseudonymous form, i. without assignment to a user, to optimize or improve their own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of shipping and the presentation of newsletters or for statistical purposes. However, the shipping service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to address them themselves or to pass the data on to third parties.

Cookies

We use small text files so-called cookies to extend the functionality of our website and keep our website reliable and secure. The collected data is stored together with the user ID generated randomly, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. These user-related data are automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data are stored in aggregated form for an unlimited period.

Use of social media plug-ins

We use Facebook social plugins provided by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). The integrations can be recognized by the Facebook logo or the terms “Like”, “Share”. The plugins establish a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. At passcon GmbH, we have no influence on the nature and the scope of data that the plugins transmit to the servers of Facebook Inc. The plugins inform Facebook Inc. that you have visited our website. It is possible that your IP address may be stored. During your visit of our website, if you logged in to Facebook, the above information will be linked to your Facebook account.

While you are using “share” or “like” a post on our website- the corresponding information will also be transmitted to Facebook Inc.

Furthermore, we use the “+1” button of Google Plus which is operated by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). We passcon GmbH have no influence on the nature and the scope of the data that the plugin transmits to the servers of Google Inc. by clicking the “+1” button while logged in to Google + or sharing the page on your public profile.

According to Google Inc., the personal data is only collected when you click on the button. The IP address is also stored for the users logged in on Google. We also use Twitter buttons. These are operated by Twitter Inc. (795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). If you visit a page that contains a “Twitter” button, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Twitter servers. We have no influence to control the nature and the scope of the data that plugins transmit to the Twitter Inc. servers.

This enables Instagram to assign your visit of our pages to your user account. We have no influence over the nature and scope of the data that the plugin transmits to Instagram Inc. servers. Our website uses plugins from Google’s YouTube site operated by YouTube, LLC, (901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA).
